Day 1: Arrive Hanoi
Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Pre-trip meeting with your guide. Free to explore Hanoi. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay
Leave Hanoi by road for Ha Long City. Enjoy fantastic views of rice paddy fields as we rode to Ha Long City. Arrive at Ha Long harbour. Embark on private traditional Chinese Junk. While cruising the emerald waters, savour the regions fresh seafood. Visit the fantastic collections of beautiful stalagmites and stalactites of Sung Sot cave (Surprising cave). Enjoy a swim in the cool waters of the Bay. Savour fresh seafood before retiring under a blanket of stars. Overnight on board junk. (Lunch and dinner) 

Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi
Wake up to fresh coffee and breakfast before cruising back to Ha Long City. En route our Chinese Junk through peculiar rock formations that invites comparisons from dragons to fighting cocks. Disembark at Ha Long city. Scrumptious lunch in a restaurant in Ha Long city. Transfer back to Hanoi by road. Transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for overnight train to Lao Cai by road in the late evening. Overnight in soft sleeper train to Lao Cai. (Breakfast and lunch) 

Day 4: Sapa Town
Arrive in Lao Cai. Transfer to hotel in Sapa by road. Check in hotel. We will visit Ta Phin village of Red Zao people in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel in Sapa. (Breakfast) 

Day 5: Sapa – Tavan
After breakfast, trek from Sapa to Lao Chai village of Black Mong people. After lunch in the village, continue to Ta van village of Zay people. Explore Tavan village. Transfer back to Sapa by road. Overnight in hotel. (Breakfast and lunch) 

Day 6: Lao Cai – Hekou – Kunming
After breakfast, transfer to Lao Cai to cross over to He Kou. After crossing to Hekou, China, take the bus to Kunming. It will take about 9 to 10 hours. Overnight in hotel in Kunming. (Breakfast) 

Day 7: Kunming
Free day in Kunming. You can explore Kunming or relax over coffee to recover from the bus trip. (Breakfast) 

Day 8: Kunming – Dali
After breakfast, transfer to bus station for the bus to Dali. It will take 5 to 6 hours. Enjoy the beautiful view along the way. Upon arrival in Dali, check in hotel. Explore the Old Town of Dali. Overnight in hotel.  

Day 9: Dali
After breakfast, drive to Xi Zhou of Bai people. Visit old house, enjoy the Three-Tea musical performance of Bai People. Waken your taste buds as we sample the 3 different types of tea offered by the Bai people as a way of welcoming their guests. Explore the well preserved Bai architecture in Xi Zhou. After visiting the old house, drive to Shang Guan to visit the Heaven Dragon Cave. Enjoy the tea ceremony performance as we sample different types of special tea by the Bai people. Drive back to Dali for lunch. Overnight in hotel.  

Day 10: Dali – Lijiang
After breakfast, take the bus to Lijiang. It will take about 4 hours to get to Lijiang, listed the World Heritage Site in 1999 by UNESCO. Check in hotel. Lunch in a local restaurant. Explore traditional Naxi architecture in Lijiang Old Town. Overnight in hotel. 

Day 11: Yu Long Snow Mountain – Black Dragon Pool Park
After breakfast, drive to Yu Long Snow mountain. Take the cable car to the height of 4506 metres. Ascend to the top of the mountain. Enjoy the beautiful view from the height of 4680 meters. Descend the mountain by cable car. Transfer back to Lijiang. Lunch in Lijiang. After lunch, visit Black Dragon Pool Park in Lijiang. Overnight in hotel.  

Day 12: Lijiang
Free day to explore Lijiang Old Town. 

Day 13: Lijiang – Tiger Leaping Gorge
After breakfast, drive to Qiaotou Town. Your trekking trip starts from here. It takes about 6 to 8 hours for the trek today. Overnight in hotel.  

Day 14: Tiger Leaping Gorge
After breakfast, trek down to the steep cliff to the bank of Jinsha River. It is the narrowest part of the gorge, where a tiger can easily jump over the Jinsha River. Trek up the gorge, relax our legs over tea. Trek through trails to the river. Lunch in the Gorge. Overnight in hotel in Tiger Leaping Gorge. (Breakfast) 

Day 15: Tiger Leaping Gorge - Zhongdian
After breakfast, drive to Zhongdian. Upon arrival, check in hotel. Free to explore Old Town of Zhongdian.

Day 16: Zhongdian – Monastery
After breakfast, drive to Monastery. Lunch in Zhongdian Town. Enjoy the dance in Zhongdian Old Town.

Day 17: Zhongdian – Kunming
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight back to Kunming. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Free at your leisure in Kunming. 

Day 18: Kunming – Hekou – Lao Cai
After breakfast, transfer to the bus station for the bus back to Hekou. Cross border to Lao Cai. After dinner, board the night train back to Hanoi. (Breakfast) 

Day 19: Hanoi
Free day in Hanoi. Overnight in hotel. (Breakfast) 

Day 20: Airport
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight. (Breakfast)
